Serbian Nenad Zimonjic and Slovenian Katarina Srebotnik advanced to the finals of Roland Garros in the mixed doubles competition. Zimonjic and Katarina Srebotnik celebrated in the semifinals against Russian Nadia Petrova and British Jamie Murray 7-6 (7-4), 7-6 (7-5).

Serbian-Slovenian combination will have the opportunity to defend his title in the finals, where they will play the winner of the match between the Australian Jarmila Gajdosova and Thomaz Bellucci from Brazil with one hand, and Casey Dellacqua of Australia and American Scott Lipsky the other side.

In both sets of semi-final encounter Zimonjic and Katarina Srebotnik, against Petrova and Murray, decided the tie-break. In the first set both pairs had one break in the second two, but the Serbian-Slovenian combination was more successful in crucial moments and eventually deservedly celebrated.
