In the Doubles final of the St.Petersburg Open-2012 the top seeds Rajeev Ram of the USA/ Nenad Zimonjic of Serbia meet the Slovakian pair Lukas Lacko/Igor Zelenay.
The destiny of both semi-finals was decided on the super tie-breaker. It is worth mentioning it was the third tie-break already in the match of the American/Serbian pair against Frank Moser of Germany/Ken Skupski of Great Britain, as the destiny of the first and second sets was also decided in the thirteenth game only. Ram and Zimonjic were more precise in the key points of the meeting having scored 10-5 on the super tie-breaker.
The second semi-final was pure Slovakian as the four players of Slovak Republic entered the court. In the first two sets both pairs Lacko/Zelenay and Klizan/Polasek won 6-3, but on the super tie-breaker the first pair was luckier 10-5. As a result Martin Klizan missed his chance of playing both tomorrow’s finals in Singles and in Doubles events.
