Nenad Zimonjic and Michael Llodra, the third seeds, who advanced to the quarter-finals last year, converted two of 12 break point chances for a 7-6(6), 6-3 victory over Jordan Kerr and Donald Young.

Zimonjic and Lodra had a difficult job in the first set against Kerr and Young, as it is seen on both sides by only one break so he decided in the tie-break. Serbian-French combination showed a much better game, had seven opportunities to withdraw the service rivals, but failed to be realized.

In second set Zimonjic and Lodra did not allow Kerr and Young any chance to make breaks, while they used one of the five-and deservedly celebrated after nearly an hour and a half.

In second round Zimonjic and Llodra go onto face Spaniards Marc Lopez and David Marrero.
