The third seeds Nenad Zimonjic and Michael Llodra, defeated Barclays ATP World Tour Finals hopefuls Mariusz Fyrstenberg and Marcin Matkowski 6-2, 7-6(5) in Shangai semifinals. The French-Serbian pairing fired 12 aces and saved all four break points they faced to claim victory in 71 minutes.
Llodra and Zimonjic, who are one of the five teams confirmed to appear at the year-end championships in London, are chasing their fourth ATP World Tour title of the season and their second in two weeks. They were victorious in back-to-back weeks over the summer at the Legg Mason Tennis Classic in Washington (d. Lindstedt-Tecau) and the Rogers Cup in Montreal (d. Bryans), and added to their trophy haul last week at the China Open in Beijing (d. Lindstedt-Tecau).
In finals zimonjic and Llodra will face second seeds Daniel Nestor and Max Mirny
