Third seeds Michael Llodra and Nenad Zimonjic reached their sixth ATP World Tour final of the season on Saturday as they defeated top seeds and two-time defending champions Bob Bryan and Mike Bryan 3-6, 7-6(4), 10-3 in the semi-finals of the China Open in Beijing.
The French-Serbian pairing won the latest instalment of their keenly contested rivalry with the Bryans in 83 minutes without breaking serve in the match. They also defeated the Bryan twins in the Rogers Cup final, but were beaten by the Americans in the Wimbledon semi-finals and the Mutua Madrid Open final.
Llodra and Zimonjic are bidding to win their third title of the season following victories at the Legg Mason Tennis Classic (d. Lindstedt-Tecau) in Washington and the Rogers Cup in Montreal. The two will square off against Robert Lindstedt and Horia Tecau in the final, after the two defeated Croatians Marin Cilic and Ivan Ljubicic 6-4, 6-7(9), 10-6 to reach their seventh final of the season (2-4 record).
