Zimonjic and Srebotnik eliminated at the start

Serbian tennis player Nenad Zimonjic and Slovenia’s Katarina Srebotnik have already been eliminated at the start of the U.S. Open championship in mixed doubles competition after this morning in New York lost to the American pair Melanie Oudin / Jack Sock 2:1 in sets.

Zimonjic and Srebotnik won only the first set 6:4, while the other two belonged to the American mix: 6-3, 15-13.

Zimonjic so ended participation in last year’s Grand Slam tournament after just two matches. Previously Americans Nicholas Monroe and Donald Joung defeated Zimonjic and Llodra with 5-7, 6-3, 6-4.
