Serbian Nenad Zimonjic and Marcin Matkowski of Poland advanced to the doubles quarter-finals of the ATP World Tour Masters 1000 in Shanghai, after edging past the all-Australian pair of Bernard Tomic and Nick Kyrgios 6-7 (4-7), 6-4, 10-8 on Wednesday.

Their rivals in the next round will be Raven Klaasen of South Africa and Marcelo Melo of Brazil, who defeated Kevin Anderson (South Africa) and Jeremy Chardy (France) in straight sets 6-2, 6-3.
